Calla SpragueEstate Planning and Probate
Calla Sprague practices primarily in the areas of probate and estate planning. She also provides counsel to clients regarding personal and corporate taxation issues.
As part of her practice, Calla regularly drafts wills, powers of attorney (medical and financial), and trusts (revocable trusts, complex trusts designed to minimize estate/gift taxes, insurance trusts, special needs trusts, etc.). This includes providing guidance on the various issues that can arise as part of such planning, including issues relating to transferring wealth, navigating the probate process, administering estates, preparing estate/gift tax returns, and helping clients put asset protection strategies in place. Calla also assists clients with pre/post–nuptial property agreements.
Calla graduated from Washburn University School of Law, and she previously received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wichita State University. In her free time, Calla enjoys baseball and is an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She also loves spending time with her adorable nephews.
